It's a Season of Thanks, It's a Season of Joy!

Nov-Dec 2024

Dear Friends,

It's a blessed season for us at We Love Kids, and we hope for all of you as well. Thanksgiving is a time of thanks for all we have received, and Christmas, a season of joy in remembering that Jesus came into the world for all of us!

The year of 2024 has been a time of sowing and a time of harvest on many fronts. We are seeing more little ones respond to the gospel in remote villages in Eastern Cambodia. We are also seeing blessings in our fundraising efforts for the Salt-and-Light project to build a Christian school in the Snoul township in this area. We are also excited that four of our high school graduates are applying for university; this is a first for these students, particularly as these graduates are of the Stieng minority group.

We Love Kids has been able to raise $100,000 in the last 15 months for the Salt-and-Light project. We are halfway to our goal! Even more exciting, our partners in Cambodia, Asian Hope, will train the local teachers, and do the day-to-day running of the school. Some of the local teachers hired for the Salt-and-Light school will have been sponsored by We Love Kids through high school. This is a win-win situation for everyone!

In this season of thanksgiving and joy, we want to especially thank those of you who have been long-time partners (some, for over 20 years!): the Vietnamese Church of Kansas City Missouri, Cross Points Church of Shawnee KS, the Donors for Christian Education organization, Good Shepherd Anglican and especially those who participated in the silent auction event at Good Shepherd church in Cornelius, North Carolina recently. All of you are making this wonderful project a reality, and are vital partners in reaching the unreached. Our heartfelt thanks!

Serving together,

from all of us at We Love Kids!
